About Me
In 2021, I left everything behind to create a new life for myself and fulfill my childhood dream of living in Vermont. I am grateful to call the small city of Burlington home. My new life has offered me the space to grow and create in ways that I never could have imagined.
I’ve been an artist since I was a child and went on to receive a BA degree in Visual Arts from SUNY Fredonia with a concentration in Drawing. But it wasn’t until I moved to Burlington that I began painting and incorporating vibrant colors into my work. I primarily use Holbein acrylic gouache and draw influences from the work of Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keeffe, Julia Rothman, and Frida Clements.
My life is surrounded by creativity and color, as I am also a writer, editor, and avid gardener. Many of my paintings show flowers, vegetables, and fruit that I’ve grown and/or harvested. My work pays homage to my new life in Vermont and my love of gardening and nature.
Thank you for your interest in my artwork. I hope it brings you as much joy as it does me.
